Here are some pictures of fall, when the leaves turn bright, when the yellow aspens shine like fire against the dark green of the evergreens, when the forests of New England with their thick growths of Maples turn the woods into a fairyland of color. Who can resist it? To take a walk in the woods as the leaves turn orange and yellow and red, when the earth is still warm enough that you need not be bundled to the ears but can wear clothes that are light enough to feel the cool breezes of fall is both wonderful and full of wonder.
