Ever since the gun was invented men have dreamed of using it to hunt bird. In the beginning it was impossible because the early smooth bore rifles were both too heavy and too inaccurate to be of any use. However, the invention of the shotgun and later, the blunderbuss gave us the ability to go into the field, alone or with our favorite dog and engage in a walk that is both pleasant and challenging for both man and the experience of a lifetime for our dogs.
